Sara Weinfeld, M.S.W., L.M.S.W.

Sara Weinfeld, M.S.W., L.M.S.W. is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive knowledge and experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skills, peer difficulties, self-esteem, and behavioral challenges. She uses evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, a strengths-based approach, and client-centered therapy. Sara strives to help clients build the resilience to face life’s challenges in an environment that is supportive and empathetic.

Sara has many years of experience providing mental health therapy and support in a school setting. She has also worked at an overnight summer camp as a clinical social worker and has facilitated groups focused on developing social skills for children.

Sara received her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Michigan State University. She then earned her Master of Social Work from University of Michigan, with an emphasis on clinical work with children and families.

In her free time, Sara enjoys spending time outdoors, attending country concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
