Madison Vandyke, MSW, LMSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship and adjustment issues, LGBTQ+ issues, neurodivergence, stress, and grief. She is also a trained Family Support Model practitioner and is passionate about helping families learn supportive strategies to improve health outcomes and overall well-being for LGBTQ+ youth. She believes that safety is the foundation of a positive therapeutic relationship and works to create a caring, non-judgmental space that supports self-expression and growth.
Madison has gained experience in foster care and adoption services, school districts, and community mental health agencies throughout metro Detroit. Her clinical style is holistic and person-centered, integrating approaches from DBT, TF-CBT, ACT, MI, and CCPT. She also enjoys incorporating art, play, music, horticulture, and bibliotherapy into her sessions to foster creativity and hands-on healing.
She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Wayne State University, where she focused her studies on family systems.
Outside of work, Madison enjoys playing indoor and sand volleyball, reading, exploring new foods, and going on adventures with friends and family.
