Jess Xerri, M.S.W., L.L.M.S.W. is a compassionate and collaborative therapist who works with children, teens, and adults navigating life’s many challenges. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, working through trauma, struggling with relationships, or adjusting to major life transitions (like pregnancy or parenthood), Jess is here to support you with empathy and care.
Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress management, interpersonal struggles, and perinatal mental health. Jess believes that no two people are alike, which is why she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
Drawing from mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and person-centered practices, Jess creates a safe and supportive space where clients can feel seen and heard. She also takes a systems-based perspective—considering the impact of family, school, culture, and community—to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Jess earned her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University, after completing her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Anthropology & Sociology at Kalamazoo College.
Outside of therapy, Jess finds joy in staying active, diving into a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending meaningful time with her loved ones. Her approachable nature and authentic curiosity about people allow her to build genuine, trusting connections with clients of all ages.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, present, and nonjudgmental therapist to walk alongside you, Jess would be honored to connect with you on your journey toward healing and growth.
