Gina Frost-Porterfield, M.A., L.P.C.

Gina Frost-Porterfield, M.A., L.P.C. is a licensed professional counselor who provides assessment and counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. She has 25 years of experience providing individual, family and couples counseling.  Areas of specialty include treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss,  stress management and relationship challenges.  Her warmth and caring approach helps put her clients at ease and sets the stage for an impactful experience.

Gina has worked as a therapist at a community mental health agency servicing at-risk youth and young adults and also served as the primary therapist in a day treatment crisis stabilization program servicing children, adolescents and adults. For the last five years she has worked as an outpatient therapist providing individual, family, and marital counseling services. Additionally, Gina has provided clinical supervision to agency staff and Master level students and has much experience consulting with various providers, such as psychiatrists, testing psychologists, school social workers, and youth assistance workers.

Gina  received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Oakland University.
