Renee Ragona, M.A., L.L.P.

Renee Ragona, M.A., L.L.P. is a limited licensed psychologist specializing in children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has 30 years of experience meeting the psychological and social-emotional needs of individuals in the educational, outpatient, hospital, and community mental health settings. Renee utilizes the principles of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), as well as mindfulness, psychoeducation, and additional evidence-based strategies to address the individualized needs of her clients. She specializes in the areas of anxiety, depression, self-esteem deficits, social skill training, gender identity, LGBTQ related issues, oppositional and defiant behavior, cognitive impairment, autism spectrum disorders, school truancy, bullying, parenting strategies, divorce, trauma, grief and loss, and issues relating to adjustment.

Renee is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), Michigan Association of School Psychologists (MASP), and the Macomb-St. Clair Psychological Association.

Renee is a graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. She received her Master’s Degree in 1990 from Wayne State University in School and Community Psychology. Additionally, Renee is a certified school psychologist in the State of Michigan.

In her 30 years of practice, Renee attributes her passion for psychology to the therapeutic journey she shares with her clients. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three sons, and her large extended family.
