Mira Friedman-Lindquist M.S.W., L.M.S.W.

Mira Friedman-Lindquist M.S.W., L.M.S.W., is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in children, teens, and families. Mira works with a wide range of needs including anxiety, depression, trauma, social skills, and behavior challenges. Mira’s therapy style is strength-based, client-centered, and creative. She values building a strong and genuine therapeutic relationship with clients and families, and hopes to provide an environment of respect, safety and trust.

Mira uses a wide variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art, experiential, and play therapy. She is certified in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and has her School Social Work Certificate.

In addition to coming to CFSC, Mira has worked for a variety of community and school-based settings in both Washington State and Michigan including schools, advocacy centers, community mental health and youth-based nonprofits. Mira currently serves as a school-based behavioral health provider in Rochester Community Schools.

Mira received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Michigan State University and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Mira currently sees clients at CFSC on Monday and Thursday evenings and on Saturdays.
