Brittany Kochajda, M.S.W., L.M.S.W.

Brittany Kochajda, M.S.W., L.M.S.W. is a licensed clinical social worker who has extensive training and experience working with children and adolescents. Brittany has served children and families in professional setting for over a decade of experience working with children and families in professional settings including the public schools.

Brittany specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, social skills, behavioral challenges, and low self-esteem. She also has a wide variety of experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Brittany values the importance of building a trusting relationship with her clients within a comfortable, nonjudgmental, and therapeutic environment. Brittany specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her work. She often teaches her clients to be more present in the moment with mindfulness techniques and activities. She works with her clients to recognize their strengths, self-advocate, problem-solve, and challenge their negative thoughts.

Brittany received her BSW from Oakland University with a minor in Child Welfare. She received her MSW from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan with a focus in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
