Rachel Blaschak, M.S. L.L.P., is a warm and collaborative psychologist who provides evidence-based therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), perinatal mental health, anger, and behavioral challenges, as well as parenting concerns.
Rachel’s approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, Parent Management Training, Family Systems Therapy, IPT, social skills training, and mindfulness techniques. She tailors her work to meet each client’s unique needs, promoting growth, resilience, and stronger relationships.
In addition to therapy, Rachel has training in neuropsychological and diagnostic evaluations and is certified in Autism evaluations and trauma-informed treatments. She is currently pursuing certification in perinatal mental health to further support parents during the prenatal and postpartum periods.
Rachel earned her B.A. in Honors Psychology from Wayne State University and her M.S. in Clinical Psychology, with a focus in Child Development, from Eastern Michigan University. During her studies, she contributed to research on at-risk families, maternal depression, child behavior, and domestic violence, which was published and presented at national conferences.
She works closely with schools, healthcare providers, and families to offer coordinated care. Outside of her clinical work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs, and finds balance through yoga, cooking, reading, and creative outlets like arts and music.
