Tanya Petcoff, M.A., L.L.P.

Tanya Petcoff, M.A. is a limited licensed psychologist, who brings a wealth of experience with over 20 years of knowledge in the assessment and treatment of children (ages 8 and up), adolescents, adults, and families. In addition to providing outpatient treatment she has also been a speaker providing psycho-education and parenting strategies within the community, facilitated social skills and support groups, and provided child advocacy in the State of Michigan. She gave a fighting voice for children and adolescents in need of mental health services and special education accommodations. 

Tanya’s areas of specialty include ADHD, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, defiant behavior, family dynamics, parenting, teens/young adult, and adjustment issues. Tanya also has training on the effects of a dual diagnosis between medical illness and mental health on children and adolescents. Tanya provides individual, family, and parenting work both in-person and virtually.

Tanya received her graduate training at Boston University School of Medicine where she graduated top of her class from the mental health counseling and behavioral medicine program. Tanya completed an internship at Boston Medical Center’s Children’s AIDS program. Tanya  completed clinical training at the Boston Medical Center working in the ER. Tanya received her undergraduate degree from Albion College and graduated with departmental honors in psychology. Tanya is a professional member of the American Psychological Association.

Tanya is a mother of two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, reading and traveling.
