Abby Sachs, M.A., L.L.P.C.

Abby Sachs, M.A., L.L.P.C. works with children, teens and adults across the age spectrum.  She has experience working with children as young as age two in behavioral management and play therapy. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in individual therapy addressing a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, behavioral concerns, relationship issues, and stress management through implementation of evidence-based strategies. Abby has experience successfully implementing psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, strengths-based, and solution-focused modalities to help meet treatment goals. Abby’s hope is to empower and assist clients in identifying strengths and reaching goals. She believes that all clients are capable of growth and deserve a warm, patient, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment to help facilitate their own personal journey.

Abby received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in English from Loyola University of Chicago and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in child and adolescent counseling from Northwestern University.

She practices under the supervision of Dr. Mary Thomas, L.P.C. and Jillian Gisomondi, L.P.C.

In her free time, Abby enjoys cozying up with a good book, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and cats.
