Julia Hanson, M.S.W., L.M.S.W., is a licensed clinical social worker who has over twenty years experience providing service to children, adolescents, and families. Areas of specialty include anxiety, ADHD, anger management, self-esteem, behavioral challenges, trauma, and parenting. For the past sixteen years, she was a social worker in the Taylor public schools, where in addition to practicing school social work, she was a supervisor for social work interns through Wayne State University. Prior to working in the schools, she has worked at Orchard Children’s Services, the Judson Center, and The Dearborn Academy.
Julia received her bachelors of science from Central Michigan University and her masters of social work from Wayne State University. Julia currently sees patients on Fridays and Saturdays in the practice.
