Tanya Kuprianiak, M.A.
Tanya Kuprianiak, M.A. is a limited licensed psychologist, who joined the Child and Family Solutions Center team in January of 2012. Tanya brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and young adults. Previously, she was a full time staff therapist at the Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine. Tanya has also worked as child advocate in the State of Michigan as a fighting voice for children and adolescents in need of mental health services and special education accommodations. Tanya’s areas of specialty include ADHD, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, mood disorders, self-esteem, defiant behavior, family dynamics, parenting, teens and adjustment issues. Tanya also has training on the effects of a dual diagnosis between medical illness and mental health on children and adolescents.
Tanya received her graduate training at Boston University School of Medicine where she graduated top of her class from the mental health counseling and behavioral medicine program. Tanya completed an internship at Boston Medical Center’s Children’s AIDS program. Tanya also completed clinical training at the Boston Medical Center. Tanya received her undergraduate degree from Albion College and graduated with departmental honors in psychology. Tanya has been accepted as a professional member in the American Psychological Association.
